Hybrid Glass Technologies, Inc. attends the Navy organized Small Business Aviation Conference and Exhibit held at Solomons Island, MD. HGT provides a display, which highlights the technology basics, the operational advantages and test results derived from NAVAIR Phase II SBIR funding support.
October 19-23, Portsmouth VA, SAE AEROSPACE International ASD Meeting
Hybrid Glass Technologies, jointly with Draka Communications and Carlisle Interconnect Technologies, gives a presentation at the SAE ASD Fiber Optics and Applied Photonics meeting held in Portsmouth, VA. The presentation includes the latest test results obtained for a superior fiber optic aerospace cable, designed and manufactured by Carlisle Interconnect Technologies, which utilizes hybrid glass coated multimode and single mode fibers manufactured by Draka Communications.

Hybrid Glass Technologies, Inc. announces $80,000 Navy SBIR Phase I award for the Navy 208-115 proposal “Rugged and Durable Fiber Optic Replacement”. Grant will support the development and commercialization of novel hybrid glass heat and corrosion resistant coating materials for specialty aerospace optical fiber used on various military aircraft.

Hybrid Glass Technologies, Inc. receives $351,300 Phase II Enhancement grant from the Navy SBIR. The grant supports an advanced testing of hybrid glass specialty coatings for aerospace optical cables used on the Navy jets.

She addressed the main results of her research under the title “Effect of Coating Chemistry on Strength and Corrosion Resistance of Hybrid Glass Coated Silica Fibers."

Hybrid Glass Technologies receives the $969, 298 SBIR Phase II Navy grant to advance research on hybrid glass protective coatings for aerospace optical fibers initiated by Phase I SBIR Navy award ($80,000 in July 2003) as well as Phase I Option grant ($70,000 in July 2004).
